Human rights

Topdanmark respects internationally recognised human rights and we aim to never infringe them.

Inspired by the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, we keep track of which human rights Topdanmark may be challenged with in our various business activities – besides what is legally expected of us.

The process has shown that our policies, initiatives and management systems are in place in relation to the human rights that potentially may be undermined.

We continuously follow up on the various policies and report any potential challenges in the annual CSR report.

Diversity on the Board of Directors

Topdanmark wants a Board of Directors consisting of the best-qualified candidates. The Board comprises six AGM-elected members and three employee-elected members.

Since 2014, Topdanmark has complied with the legislative definition of even gender distribution on its Board of Directors.
