In general, the IT department works with operations and development.


Here we focus on providing safe operations to the business and, at the same time, continuing to develop our technical platform. We lean on the ITIL processes. Our service desk is good at helping Topdanmark's employees with everything from support and error messages to orders for equipment and software. Additionally, IT Operations supply servers, clients, backups, networks, telephony and a lot of other things which ensure the IT support in Topdanmark. Our technological platform is based on, e.g. Microsoft (Windows etc.), mainframe, DB2 and Citrix.


Agile development is a cornerstone in the IT organisation. Primarily we use Scrum, but Kanban is also used where most appropriate. Most of our development is aimed at customers and our business. We have a number of different systems based on various technologies, e.g. Java, Cobol, PL/1, SAP, SAS and Notes. We employ both developers and business analysts, and we work work closely with the business because we believe that this creates the best solutions.


Job requirements and expectations

As an IT employee of Topdanmark your educational background must be relevant Additionally, it is important that you are enthusiastic about providing the right IT solutions to our customers and users. You believe that the best solutions are created in agile, autonomous teams in close dialogue with the users. You have experience of this way of working. You work in a structured and targeted manner, you are persistent and have good communication skills. Experience from the financial sector would also be an advantage.
