Topdanmark’s partnership with Coop was launched in 2017 under the name Coop Forsikringer fra Topdanmark. Coop is one of Denmark’s largest retail undertakings with 1.8 million members.

High-frequency points of contact

With high-frequency points of contact, both physically and digitally, Topdanmark considers retail in general, and Coop in particular, to be an ever more significant and customer relevant sales channel for insurances.  




Integrated into Coop’s ecosystem

Coop Forsikringer is fully integrated into Coop’s ecosystem, digital platform and membership programme, and thus it supports Coop’s aim of offering the customers extra security through simple insurances at a fair price.  




Facts

The members have access to eight different insurances: contents, travel, motor, house, accident (adults), accident (children), dog and cat insurance.

Membership bonus on insurances

Coop members, who are customers with Coop Forsikringer, earn membership bonus points when purchasing insurances. They earn monthly bonus points as well as annual claim-free bonus points. That way, the members get the value of their membership confirmed on an ongoing basis.  

We expect that membership bonuses for the customers with Coop Forsikring will surpass DKK 50m within the next five years. The customers can use their bonus points to shop for in all of Coop’s shops.




Own site and a permanent designated team of employees

As a strong partner, Topdanmark supports Coop Forsikringer, with an independent website, development of insurance products exclusively for Coop members, as well as a 100% dedicated team of employees that gives advice, service and handles claims.

Marketing and campaigns

In addition to this, the partnership collaborates closely on marketing and campaigns via Coop’s digital channels.  

Coop’s focus on helping members combined with Topdanmark’s expertise in insurances is the foundation for an altogether unique collaboration. Based on the customers’ needs and together with Coop, we have developed digital insurance products integrated into Coop’s member universe and digital platform which makes it easy for the customers to get assistance when misfortune strikes

Facts

Advice, products, sales, service and claims handling are handled by Topdanmark which has a dedicated department that deals exclusively with Coop Forsikringer. A large part is online, however, it is always possible to get personal advice and service, e.g. when a damage occurs.
