Salary, pension and holiday

In general, your salary will be determined according to your qualifications, tasks, experience and not least your performance.

Most employees are paid in accordance with the collective agreement between the Danish Employers’ Association for the Financial Sector (Finanssektorens Arbejdsgiverforening (FA)) and Forsikringsforbundet (the union of insurance workers).

In addition to your salary, Topdanmark also pays your pension.

Most employees have five weeks of holiday and five personal days. In addition, the Friday following Ascension Day, Constitution Day, 24 December and 31 December are all days off. The vast majority are paid a special holiday allowance of 2.75% - that is 1.75% more than the statutory holiday allowance of 1%.




A flexible working day

At Topdanmark, you get a flexible working day accommodating both working at the office and working from home. We work based on a hybrid working model, and you and your manager agree on how to structure your working week based on your needs and the overall framework.

Most employees working at Topdanmark have flexible working hours. We have introduced this in order for everybody to be able to organise their own working day.

With us, the weekly working hours are only 35 hours and 55 minutes – the lunch break, we pay ourselves. In most departments, it will be possible to work part time for a period. Of course, this requires that the job assignments allow it.
